Strength and conditioning at its simplest form is the practical application of evidence-based research and physiology of exercise and anatomy to enhance movement quality. It is a great way to transform your body and get results, whether you’re an athlete or amateur, expert, or just starting out., old or young. It uses a variety of tools to improve movement competency, health and physical performance.

S&C deploys many methods such as mobility and flexibility, balance, proprioception & control, coordination, speed and agility, strength, power plyometrics and or improving performance and so much more depending on the individual or team’s needs!

Previously believed only to be for athletes, as more people understand the many benefits of movement-based fitness; the strength and conditioning discipline applies to everyone whether you are an athlete wanting to move quicker and deliver more power to the pedals or an elderly person who wants to improve your balance and proprioception to reduce your risk of falls.

Pilates

Pilates is a low intensity form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on the trunk to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility.


Sport Specific Workshops

We offer a range of workshops to improve your sports specific skills. Our Run Strong programme is all about improving technique, form and confidence. The Running for Performance focuses on speed and endurance to achieve your run goals. We also offer a range of bike skills workshops too.

I have am exercise biased, pro-active and long-term approach to rehab; encompassing health, wellbeing, fitness and performance to support you in achieving your goals.

In the last 10 years, I have gained a range of complimentary qualifications, as well as 1:1 and group coaching/teaching experience, which gives me a unique ability to deliver highly individualised physiotherapy and rehabilitative care and performance coaching to support individuals to achieve their goals.
